What You'll Do
As an HR Generalist / HR Consultant, you will serve as a trusted advisor to clients while providing comprehensive HR support across the employee lifecycle.
HR Operations & Employee Support
- Manage onboarding, employee development, performance management, and offboarding processes
- Draft and maintain employment agreements, job descriptions, policies, and HR documentation
- Coordinate full-cycle recruitment efforts, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and offer management
- Administer and maintain HRIS systems, ensuring data accuracy and confidentiality
- Support payroll processing and benefits administration in partnership with finance teams
- Manage employee relations matters, including investigations, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution
HR Consulting & Advisory Services
- Provide strategic HR guidance to clients across various industries
- Assess organizational needs and recommend practical, business-focused HR solutions
- Conduct HR audits and compliance reviews
- Develop and implement HR programs, policies, and best practices
- Support organizational change initiatives, workforce planning, and restructuring projects
- Help clients build strong workplace cultures and employee engagement strategies
Client Relationship Management
- Build and maintain trusted relationships with client organizations
- Serve as a responsive and professional point of contact for HR-related matters
- Collaborate with internal consulting teams to deliver exceptional client outcomes
- Represent Kiwi Partners at client meetings, networking events, and industry functions
What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive HR Generalist experience
- Strong knowledge of employee relations, HR compliance, and employment practices
- Experience managing full-cycle recruitment and talent acquisition processes
- Proficiency with HRIS platforms, Microsoft 365, and digital workplace tools
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, projects, and client relationships simultaneously
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior HR consulting or advisory experience
- SHRM-CP, PHR, or equivalent HR certification
- Experience supporting multiple organizations or client accounts
- Ability to travel throughout the NYC metropolitan area to meet with clients
